The Environmental Protection Agency is pleased to support the work of the CDP Ireland Network and this 2025 Annual Review. The Network continues to provide an important platform for strengthening environmental transparency, supporting organisations to better understand and manage their impacts, risks and opportunities. High-quality climate and environmental disclosure is essential in driving meaningful progress. It enables more informed decision-making, strengthens accountability, and supports the alignment of organisational strategies with Ireland’s climate objectives and broader sustainability commitments. In this regard, the CDP Ireland Network makes a valuable contribution by promoting consistent, decision-useful reporting across sectors.

Ireland’s transition to a low-carbon, sustainable economy will require a decisive shift away from fossil fuel dependence, alongside improvements in resource efficiency and environmental performance.
This transition is not only necessary to address climate change but also to enhance long-term resilience and protect environmental quality.

Collaboration will be central to success. By bringing together organisations committed to transparency and continuous improvement, the CDP Ireland Network helps translate ambition into measurable action. The ongoing engagement and leadership of its members will continue to play an important role in supporting Ireland’s progress towards a more sustainable and resilient future.
